Night sports original contemporary watercolor painting

I love the clean contemporary feel of this piece, it turned out wonderfully, in that it still has something going on whilst hanging onto a larger scene and done is a blocky abstract style that gives another dimension of shape.

A place in space. Space abstract A. Sometimes I just place the paint and move around the paper, let the air guide it, sometimes it moves slow and sometimes fast due to the different drying times and any air movement, it's always different, like the paint was allowed for a change to dance on it's own. I love how this turned out, it looks like the ink are long legged, golden, spirit like people floating around in the air. Little meditations. *small study rage* small studies are themes I explore, which aid in ideas I have.

Red fish Ken

On the day this fish was created, I just knew I had to paint a fish and I started with the standard ellipse shaped style, thinking it was just going to be about color and as I started painting it began to paint itself. The wondrous ( and sometimes annoying) thing about true intuitive painting is that you usually never see the end piece only a tentative idea and it doesn't present itself, it unfolds as you paint. The ellipse turned into a square almost and the colour change aspect felt like a requirement. After finishing I thought it look the weirdest thing, but that was ok, I like my style to be different from the rest, and made the Instagram post about it being a lesson on perspective and how 2 people looking at the same thing can see something completely different depending on where they stand on something. This case, the fish changes from red to a Gold depending on where they stand on the floor, but feelings and rigid pre conceived ideas, social circles and education also change the way we see things and the way we are; Like the fish, I will come to learn, humans are mostly are products of their environment.
