This started years ago as a pastel scene and it came from sitting parked on the side of the road near a farm and watching a young cow and crow interact. IT was like they were talking with each other, these sweet little animated movements like one would do to another mid conversation. Years later, I pull it out again and I see it more as, that while a stunningly beautiful scene, backdrop and animals, I may never have even noticed that ONE cow and ONE crow, but rather than as a PART of the scene, it was only that they were conducting this magical discourse in front of me that the beautiful scenery fell away and they came into view. And I thought it's like us...we are only seen when we are something different, good or bad, it's the difference that people notice. acrylic on paper with metallic accents

It was born from the coincidental experiments with seeding the clouds to help conserve the Great barrier reef and the devastating floods. The man in the boat with the machine that shoot sea water into the clouds (which happens to look like a penis (accidental) to the seeds as dark, dried blood that will be the stains on the people affected by the floods, to the torrents of rain that covered everything in it's path from views to ground to houses and the people the roofs of their houses waiting for rescue with they beloved pets and .... It was a release and there are a few magical things in it as always.

This piece was born whilst doing another. I just had the urge to grab a sheet of canvas and start making marks and just kept going. It felt so serene, like it could be any boat, any ship, a memory a vision, a dream, it was no one ship and yet it was every one and it wasn't until I filed the short detail video for it that I saw all the shapes and faces and nuances hidden in the sails, in the splash of water,in the shadows, you just have to look.
